About PHS
PHS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation established in 1995 to provide health care and physician
services for the promotion of health in Pickaway and surrounding counties.
To be the premier group of healthcare professionals of choice within Pickaway and surrounding
counties.
To attract and retain qualified healthcare professionals to meet the expanding healthcare needs
of Pickaway County in a manner that is compassionate, exceeds patient service expectations, and
results in a financially self-sustaining organization.
The PHS Board of Trustees is responsible for the overall mission, purpose, and strategic direction
of Pickaway Health Services. They meet monthly and provide oversight of financial and
operational performance. Additionally, they work to assist PHS in determining community needs for
types of services and physicians. The 2007 PHS Board of Trustees are:
