Medications you can take

Pain medications

• Tylenol (acetaminophen) any Tylenol Product
• Codeine (by prescription only)

Heartburn, Indigestion, or Gas

• Tums
• Rolaids
• Gas-X
• Pepcid
• Zantac

Cough or Cold

• Robitussin cough
• Robitussin DM
• Sudafed
• Robitussin CF
• Tavist D
• Saline nasal spray

Allergy

• Zyrtec
• Claratin
• Benadryl
• Dimetapp

Nausea

• Vitamin B6

Yeast Infection

• Monistat

Hemorrhoids

• Preparation H
• Tucks medicated wipes

Toothaches

• Orajel
• Novacain for fillings
• Tylenol with codeine or Vicoden for pain
• You may have an x-ray with an abdominal lead shield

Diarrhea

• Imodium -- 1 dose. If diarrhea continues call the office.

Constipation

• Colace
• FiberCon
• Citrucel
• Metamucil
• Milk of Magnesia
• Fiberall

Lice

• Rid

Medications you should NOT take

• Aspirin -- adult and baby
• Motrin (Ibuprofen)
• Advil (Ibuprofen)
• Aleve (naproxen)

Other

• All medications not approved by Dr. Goldfarb, Dr. Shields, or Dr. Maderia
