Labor with Epidural Option (Weekend Retreat)
The Labor with Epidural Course (Weekend Retreat) offers the same class content as the four-week session. You and your support person will learn the choices you have to handle your labor and birth. You will also learn about types of pain relief such as epidural anesthesia. This class will include a practice session of what skills you can practice before an epidural can be offered. A tour of the Maternity Center and the opportunity to ask the staff questions are included.
Classes are held Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cost: $30.00.
Registration deadline is two weeks prior to start of the class. Recommend class be attended 2 months prior to due date.
