Hospice volunteers provide personal care, companionship and comfort to both hospice patients and their families. Every member of the hospice team is dedicated to optimizing a patient's quality of life in the comfort and safety of a homelike environment that includes skilled nursing facilities. They do this through a holistic approach to care that provides for the medical and emotional needs of patients, regardless of their ability to pay.
